The Challenge
The site was being converted from a butcher shop to a liquor store, which meant the existing cold room was no longer suitable for the new use. The old room had to be removed, the floor relaid and a new cold room built to suit the revised layout and operating requirements, all within the constraints of a retail conversion program.
Our Solution
We demolished and removed the existing cold room, re-laid the floor and constructed a new cold room designed for bottle shop use. The new system was built and commissioned to suit the store layout, expected stock profile and day-to-day trading demands, delivering a clean transition from the previous tenancy to the new retail operation.
