The Challenge
The project required modification of an existing cold room within a live food processing environment, where works had to be carefully managed to avoid disruption to production while still meeting strict site, hygiene and operational requirements. The added complexity was integrating new refrigeration systems and updated controls into existing infrastructure without compromising reliability or plant operations.
Our Solution
Acro Refrigeration planned and delivered a staged upgrade of the existing cold room, modifying the infrastructure as required and installing new refrigeration systems and upgraded controls to suit the client’s operational needs. The works were coordinated to fit within the constraints of the live processing environment, with testing and commissioning completed to ensure the new equipment integrated properly with the existing plant and operated reliably from handover.
